What is your group legal services plan, and who is covered under the plan?
  A: Our plan is a prepaid legal services and discount plan. Under the plan, a monthly fee is paid in order to secure legal services on the terms provided. This includes defined benefits and substantial discounts.

Businesses that contract with us are covered. Also, business owners as individuals, their families and their employees may obtain coverage for a small additional fee.

  A: You pick up the phone using a toll-free number and ask to speak to a lawyer.

Do you write letters and review documents as part of the legal plan?

  A: Absolutely.

Can I cancel at any time?

  A: You must provide at least a 30-day written notice to cancel.

Does your legal plan include the defense of civil lawsuits?

  A: Yes.

Does your legal plan include the defense of criminal matters?

  A: Yes.

9. Q:

If I am required to go to small claims court, can you help me?

  A: Yes. While attorneys may not represent parties in small claims court, we can prepare our clients for trial.

10. Q:

Why are you willing to reduce your legal fees by 25% for most matters under your group legal services plan?

  A: The reliability of receiving monthly legal fees from Business Clients, together with the increased volume of legal work generated by the group legal services plan, makes it possible for us to provide a substantial reduction in our legal fees.

Will an attorney meet with me to discuss the details of your group legal services plan at no cost to me.

13. Q:

How soon will an attorney call me back if I am required to leave a message?

  A: Our goal is that 100% of all phone messages will be answered within 24 hours. If you leave a message, please provide alternative phone numbers if possible. Most phone calls will be returned the same day.

14. Q:

What happens if I don’t like the attorney assigned to me?

  A: We can substitute another experienced attorney in nearly all cases.

15. Q:

How do I sign up for the plan?

  A: Businesses may obtain a complete package by calling us or requesting information via our website.

16. Q:

Do you ever require the payment of a retainer?

  A: If you exceed the number of legal hours provided under the plan, it may be necessary to pay a customary retainer for some types of cases. Any questions regarding specific legal matters and retainer should be directed to a plan attorney.

17. Q:

How soon am I covered?

  A: Coverage starts when both parties have signed the Plan Agreement and the initial monthly payment is made. There is no waiting period.

18. Q:

Do you have a legal plan administrator?

  A: No. We have no legal plan administrator or sales staff. We are not a franchise or referral service. We are a law firm. When you call us, you will speak to a licensed attorney about your matter.

19. Q:

Is your group legal services plan a form of insurance?

  A: No. Our group legal services plan is not an insurance policy and, accordingly, has not been reviewed or approved by the California Department of Insurance or any other government agency.

20. Q:

What payment options are available?

  A: We can bill you monthly after the first month’s payment, which is payable upon acceptance of the application.

21. Q:

Where is your group legal services plan available?
